As we can all relate to, accidents can and will happen. At Gator Waders we want to assist the customer through these processes with as much ease and as little delay as we can to get you back out there doing what you love!  You’re more than a customer, you’re a partner and we’re here with you every step of the way, so you can have CONFIDENCE IN EVERY STEP.

Caring for your waders:

When it comes to getting the longest life you can from your waders, nothing is more important than the cleaning and care of your waders after each use. We have provided some information below to help you in taking the steps needed to clean and care for your Gator Waders.


When you are ready to end your day and clean your waders do not take them off. Get some mild dish soap like Dawn or something comparable. Take a low-pressure water hose and wet your waders. Once wet put some of the soap in your hands and rub them all over the waders like you’re taking a shower. Get every part of your waders including the legs and inseams (do not go to high up above the chest pocket or collar). Once your waders have been gently rubbed down with the mild soap, take the low-pressure water hose and rinse the soap from your waders. After they are FULLY rinsed and all soap has been rinsed away, hang them to dry in a safe place out of the sun and heat. DO NOT use a blow dryer or any other source of heat to dry your waders. Air drying is ALWAYS best. High heat can damage your waders and void your warranty. Leave them hanging until the next time you’re ready to use them.  It is recommended that after the boots have been properly cleaned and allowed to fully dry, that you use a boot/rubber conditioner on them prior to storage to prevent the rubber from drying out and cracking.

What is covered by warranty:

Gator Waders warranty program covers any Manufacturer’s defect in the workmanship and materials of your Gator Waders gear. This warranty program applies to consumer use only and is null and void if the product is used in a manner for which it is not intended. The warranty program period for your Gator Waders gear is based on individual products ranging from 90-days to 12-months from the original date of purchase. This warranty program is for the original consumer purchaser only. It is not transferable. Proof of purchase must be provided with any replacement claim submitted. The warranty registration must be filled out within 30 days of purchase to activate this limited warranty.  By definition, a Manufacturer’s defect is caused by some error that occurred during the assembly of the product and was not intended to be a part of the product.

    Gator Waders products are designed and constructed for maximum comfort, mobility, and durability with the sole purpose of keeping you comfortable, dry, and protected. While Gator Waders products do excel in all of these aspects, they are not indestructible. Sharp rocks, stiff limbs, and unexpected falls can push ANY fabric or clothing type beyond its limits. We are sure that our customers can understand that as a company we are unable to cover unforeseen accidents or damage to your waders that are outside of the control of Gator Waders.


    That takes us right into the options that are available to our customers for addressing these concerns when something has occurred that is outside of the warranty program. When an unfortunate occurrence takes place, such as an accidental rip or snag, there are options for getting your waders repaired.     Filing a Warranty Program Claim:

    Please be sure to read the guidelines before submitting your warranty program claim. Following the submission of a warranty program claim, extensive review and testing will be performed on the waders. If a manufacturer’s defect is found, your claim will be approved, and you will immediately be issued a replacement for the same product or a store credit for the full amount paid for the product. If the product is out of stock a store credit will be issued to the customer to apply towards any other gear or replacement upon restock of the originally purchased product. No refunds will be issued on warranty claims. Following multiple tests, if the product shows no sign of a manufacturer’s defect or malfunction the merchandise will be returned to the owner.


    If you are sending in used merchandise for review and testing, please be sure that your item(s) are clean and dry and free of debris before returning. By law, we cannot accept wet or dirty products. A $40.00 handling fee will be applied to any warranty that is sent back excessively dirty or wet and will be required to be paid before the release of your merchandise. Absolutely no exceptions. Refusal to pay the handling fee will result in an immediate denial of any warranty claim and your item(s) will be sent back to you in the same condition they were received.

    If warranty products are brought to our store, please allow 24 to 48 hours to test and validate the warranty and get the new order for replacement waders processed.

    We have identified an issue with the adhesive of our Bounty Coolers and we are actively working to correct the issue. All Bounty Coolers will come with a one-year manufacturer repair warranty. A Repair Warranty applies to defect(s) that appear within 12 months from the original purchase date. Gator Waders will repair or replace products, or parts of a product, that proved defective because of improper material or workmanship. If repairs cannot be made then a replacement will be issued.

As soon as the customer service team has had a chance to review your request, they will issue you a warranty claim number and provide you with return instructions and a return label to send back with your product.
